Terms of service

By accessing or using Mabon ("the Service"), operated by White Indus Ventures Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

To use the Service, you must create an account by signing in with your Google account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.

Mabon is a job search agent that scans job listings across multiple sources, evaluates them against your profile and preferences, and surfaces relevant matches. The Service includes:

• Automated job scanning across job boards and career pages
• Evaluation and ranking of listings based on your resume and preferences
• A conversational interface to refine your search criteria
• Ongoing monitoring with notifications for new matches

Job listings displayed by the Service are sourced from third-party platforms. We do not create or verify the accuracy of job postings and are not a party to any employment relationship.

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including your resume, preferences, and chat messages ("User Content").

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use your User Content to:

• Provide, maintain, and operate the Service
• Improve and develop the Service
• Generate anonymised, aggregated insights that do not identify you personally

We will not sell your User Content to third parties. For details on how your data is handled, please see our Privacy policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond its intended interfaces
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or plan restrictions

To maintain service quality and ensure fair access for all users, we may apply usage limits on certain features, including the conversational interface. These limits may vary by plan and may change over time. If your usage is restricted, your existing always-on searches will continue to run uninterrupted.

The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by White Indus Ventures Pte. Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

The Service offers a 7-day free trial for all new users. During the trial, you have access to a limited set of features including up to 5 searches and 1 always-on search. No credit card is required to start the trial.

After the trial period, you may upgrade to the Pro plan to continue using the Service. If you do not upgrade, your access to the Service will end. Details of plan features and pricing are available on our Pricing page.

Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. For details on refunds, please see our Refund policy.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings surfaced by the Service. Job listings are sourced from third-party platforms, and we have no control over their content or availability.

We do not guarantee that you will find employment through the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, White Indus Ventures Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties.

Upon account deletion, your personal data (resume, preferences, chat messages) will be removed. However, we retain your email address to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of free plan allowances.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the dispute resolution mechanisms available in Singapore.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
