Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how White Indus Ventures Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use Mabon ("the Service").
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
Resume data. If you provide a resume, we store its contents to evaluate job listings against your experience and qualifications.
Preferences and search criteria. We store the job preferences you provide (such as role type, location, seniority) to personalise your search results.
Chat messages. Messages you exchange with the agent are stored to maintain conversation context and improve future search refinements.
Learned preferences. Over time, the Service remembers insights from your interactions (such as preferred company sizes or working arrangements) to improve the relevance of results across searches.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and interactions with search results. This helps us understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, improve the Service, analyze usage, measure marketing effectiveness, and support advertising. Third-party providers may also use these technologies in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the Service — scanning job listings, evaluating relevance, and surfacing matches based on your profile and preferences
- Power the conversational interface and remember your preferences across searches
- Send you notifications about new job matches
- Improve and develop the Service based on how it is used
- Generate anonymised, aggregated insights that do not identify you personally
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests
Our legal basis for processing your information is the performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Service), and our legitimate interest in improving the Service.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any such transfers.
4. Data Sharing
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. With third-party providers who help us operate the Service, under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements. If required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Safety. To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, ourselves, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information would remain subject to the protections described in this policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data (resume, preferences, chat messages, and learned preferences).
To prevent abuse of free plan limits, we retain your email address after account deletion. This allows us to enforce fair usage policies.
Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We regularly review our security practices and limit access to personal data to authorised personnel who need it to operate the Service.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to the email retention policy described above)
- Port your data — receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used format
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
